The reviewer is a safety and topic gate, not a quality bar. Opinionated takes, beginner tutorials and short-but-useful posts all pass. It also scans for credentials — if you’ve pasted a real API key into a code sample, it stops you before the internet sees it.
Questions
- Do I need to be an expert to write here?
- No. Write about what you actually did. A beginner explaining the thing they just figured out is often more useful than an expert explaining it from memory.
- How long does review take?
- Seconds. An automated reviewer checks every article for safety and topic fit the moment you hit publish. If it passes, your article is live immediately — there is no human queue to wait in.
- What happens if my article is blocked?
- Nothing is lost. Your draft is saved exactly as it was, and you get a specific list of what to fix. Edit and publish again as many times as you need.
- Can I save a draft and come back later?
- Yes — that is the point. Drafts are stored in your account and never expire. Come back in a year and your work, along with its full version history, is exactly where you left it.
- Do I keep the rights to what I write?
- Yes. You keep ownership of your article. You can unpublish it at any time from your dashboard.
- Can I link to my own product or blog?
- You can link where it genuinely helps the reader, and your author bio can link to your site, LinkedIn and GitHub. Articles that exist mainly to sell something are rejected. Author-supplied links are marked nofollow.
- What are the requirements?
- A headline of at least 15 characters and an article of at least 300 words. Beyond that, write as long as the subject deserves.
