Art Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Art Director based in France.
This is a hands-on creative leadership role shaping the complete visual identity of a multiplayer PvPvE shooter built in Unreal Engine.
You’ll own the artistic direction across characters, environments, animation, weapons, concept art, and UI/UX.
Working closely with creative, design, product, and technical teams, you’ll ensure every visual element feels cohesive and supports the player experience.
You’ll lead a multidisciplinary art team while remaining deeply involved in production and asset development.
The role combines high-level artistic vision with practical pipeline, workflow, and production ownership.
As the game moves toward Early Access and live content, you’ll help establish scalable processes for new arenas, seasonal content, cosmetics, and ongoing updates.
You’ll join a distributed, self-managing team that values open collaboration, strong communication, and ambitious game development.
Accountabilities:
Own and define the overall art direction, visual identity, and creative standards across the game.
Direct the development of environment art, character and species design, animation, modeling, rigging, texturing, shader development, concept art, 2D assets, and UI/UX.
